Blender VFX Shots

Design Summary

This VFX shot is a fireball created using Blender’s fluid and particle systems, specifically their smoke and fire effects. It was created as a proof of concept for a VFX shot in a different project. The idea was to show that this type of effect was a usable option for only in Blender VFX, to use as a small part of a much bigger shot later, that can be simulated and animated in real time.

Design Summary

This VFX shot is a lightning bolt created using Blender’s geometry nodes. It was created as a proof of concept for a VFX shot in a different project. The idea was to show that this type of effect was a usable option for only in Blender VFX, to use as a small part of a much bigger shot later, that can be adjusted in a variety of ways including color, number of branches, length of branches, start and end points, and intensity of glow.

Design Summary

This VFX shot is a flamethrower effect created using Blender’s fluid and particle systems, specifically their smoke and fire effect. It was created as a proof of concept for a VFX shot in a different project. The idea was to show that this type of effect was a usable option for only in Blender VFX, to use as a small part of a much bigger shot later, that can be adjusted in a variety of ways such as color, intensity, smoke density, and can also be influenced by forces to create a path or a jet of flame.
